  Don't appreciate being put in the middle of a power struggle of the security forces and lodging staff. We got pulled over at 10 PM after a 10 hour drive in our FIRST visit to this base because staff recommended we ignore the one way sign. Security forces and base staff are why I avoid being on any base and this was no exception. Thank God we'll never be stationed here and are only here for the night. There was also a piece of trash in the bathtub, and although they request you ONLY USE HE SOAP in the washer they dont provide even a single use amount.

  Lets be clear... I have stayed at Air Force inns all over the world and most of them are amazing. This one... well it's falling apart.
  
  For starters, the hotel is old, like very old and run down. It is safe to say that if this hotel was not on a military installation it would be condemned by the city.
  
  They claim new upgrades but here that means new furniture in an old paint peeling room with peeling doors and old tiled bathrooms.
  
  I also find it funny that there are signs outside on some of the utility room doors that say warning "asbestos.". What? No way! Yes way! Stress cracks in the structure and the paint is peeling In the rooms on the entire ceiling.
  
  As for me... Oh no, never again! I really don't care how cheap it is. Not worth it. Do yourself a favor and stay in Panama City for a couple extra bucks where there are nice hotels and also has something to do.
